Eyelash Services

I offer Eyelash extensions as well as Lash Lift.

Eyelash extensions can be maintained with infills and typically last around 4 weeks.

Lash lifting is performed on your natural lashes and provides curling and lengthening effect. The treatment can be done every 6-8 weeks.

Classic Lashes

Classic Lash Extensions are carefully applied one by one onto your natural eyelashes to enhance them. The curl, length and thickness can be customised to you depending on your desired outcome.

Please book 2 hours for this treatment.

Hybrid Lashes

Hybrid Eyelash Extensions are perfect for the middle ground look. A little bit more than classics but not as thick and full as Russian lashes. This technique uses “fans” and classic lashes and can be completely customised to your face.

Russian Lashes

Why not add a pop of colour to your lash set? The choice is yours to go bold and have colour throughout or maybe a flash at the ends?

I also offer brown which is perfect for fair hair and skin for a more natural look or for anyone who would like a more chocolately soft look.

Wispy/ angel/ wet sets are very popular too for creating dimension and interest to the eyes.

Russian Lash Extensions are perfect for those who like to wake up glam all the time or those with fewer lashes naturally who want to make more of an impact. I use a variety of handmade fans especially for you and your desired outcome. This is the fluffiest look of them all!

Brown/ Colour/ Wispy

Lash Lift

The lash lift is perfect if you want a low maintenance way of curling your lashes and creating an illusion of longer lashes. This process involves your natural lashes being curled for up to 6 week s and it is your choice whether to include a tint or not.

This service requires a patch test 48 hours prior to your appointment.

Eyebrow Services

Hybrid Brows provide a skin stain as well as longer lasting tint to the hairs, suitable for HD brow lovers or those who enjoy a bold brow.

Soft Lamination provides more structure and fullness to the brows.

Eyebrow wax and tint for a simple and classic look.

Hybrid Brows are a beautiful way of creating a skin stain as well as tinting the brows themselves. The staining of the skikn creates a look of depth and shadow making it appear as though you have make up on. The skin stain will last for up to a week and the brows will remain tinted for up to 8 weeks- much longer than traditional tint! It is like a henna brow treatment but without the henna allowing for a more precise and neat application. The treatment will end with a wax to remove unwanted hairs.

You will need to be patch tested 48 hours prior to this treatment .

Brow lamination is a way of making your brows appear thicker and more defined. Lamination tames unruly and stubborn brow hairs to create a fuller, fluffier look. This effect can last 6-8 weeks with a maintenance appointment recommended at the 4 week mark. This treatment includes a wax and tint and you must book in a patch test 48 hours prior to your appointment. .

Facials

I provide traditional facials including cleanse, extraction and mask using the vegan, organic range from Tropic Skincare.

I also specialise in Dermaplaning which is perfect for reviving dull skin and getting rid of peach fuzz to allow full absorption of products into the skin. (Your facial hair will absolutely not grow back thicker!)

I can also offer a custom tailored facial experience to suit your personal needs, whether you are struggling with break outs, rosacea or sensitivities I will use a variety of techniques and products best for you.

Vegan Tropic Facial includes double cleanse, tone, serums, exfoliation, extraction. massage and mask all using the gorgeous vegan and cruelty free products from Tropic. If you would like to buy them for home use please click here

Dermaplaning FAQ’s

Will my hair grow back more/ thicker/ faster?

Absolutely not! The peach fuzz on your face is a different kind of hair to that found under the armpits, on the legs etc. If you have any upper lip or chin hair that will be removed with wax and only the peach fuzz removed with the blade. If you’re not comfortable with wax don’t worry- I will avoid that area!

Who is dermaplaning suitable for?

It is perfect for dry-normal skin types as well as those with sensitive skin. It isn’t suitable for people with rosacea, excema and acne.

I have oily skiin/ breakouts, can I still have the treatment?

You can but please bare in mind the treatment may make your skin more oily. If you have active breakouts at the time, depending on the severity I may not be able to dermaplane and may suggest an alternative facial.

Will it hurt?

Dermaplaning won’t hurt. The surgical blade I use is angled to only remove surface level dead skin and fluff so don’t worry!

The Cinderella facial is the perfect lunctime pick me up if you have an event soon and want a gorgeous glow. It features a powerful skinbooster EGF serum as well as an enzyme powerful but painless peel.

Training COurses

One thing that is really important to me is the support afterwards. Learning a skill that requires such patience can be daunting and you may have lots of questions once the course is complete. I am here for guidance at any time during your career. I endeavour to be your mentor and cheerleader for as long as you need me!

All the courses I offer are suitable for anyone over the age of 16 who are fluent in English with no past experience in the beauty industry necessary.

This is a one day course (9:30-5) in a small class setting with the requirement to complete 3 case studies after the day submitted via email with pictures.

You will learn:

• Health and Safety surrounding the lash extension service.
  
• Anatomy and physiology of the eyes, hair and skin.
• How to perform consultations.
• Contraindications.
• Eyelash styles, shapes and mapping for your clients.
• Application techniques and working with adhesive.
• Infill and removal procedure.
• Tips and tricks to get your business off the ground.

Russian Eyelash Extension Training

If you already have your classic eyelash qualification and want to expand your skill set, why not train with So Chic Boutique in the Russian technique?

You will learn:

• Various Russian fanning techniques.

Eyebrow lamination is one of the hottest brow trends with “soap brows” dominating Tik Tok and Instagram. This treatment is perfect for nearly every brow whether they are sparse, unruly or full and fluffy already. It is the perfect treatment to add to your list of services.

The course at a glance:

This is a one day course (9:30- 5) where you will be in a small class. You must bring a model to demonstrate the treatment on and this model will need to have full eyebrows with no previous semi permanent make up and have had a patch test 48 hours prior.

You will learn:

• Health and safety around brow lamination and treatment.
  
• Anatomy and physiology of the eyes, hair and skin.
• How to perform consultations and patch tests.
• Contraindications.
• Mapping, styling and shaping for your clients brows.
• Timings and procedure including tint.
